Comedy for Kids
We believe that teaching children about comedy is the best way to showcase and celebrate their differences and build a sense of community. Having children understand the best way to showcase their stories and emotions while learning to present and work in a team is a surefire way to make education feel fun! Our Indigenous performers will also embed important lessons about culture and community making the learning far deeper than just knowing how to write a sketch.
Learning Objectives
- Types of humour and benefits in daily life
- Writing for comedy – how to write a joke or skit
- Conveying an idea and delivering humour to the audience
- Mastering public speaking – tools for confidence

Aboriginal Art Workshop – Early Childhood

Rhe hosts corporate and educational workshops for all demographics which come highly recommended. Her children’s and youth workshops utilize unique teaching resources for children of all ages to learn storytelling through art and symbolism with traditional Aboriginal art techniques.
Learning Objectives
- Learn the basics of Aboriginal Art
- Learn about Aboriginal symbolism through the use of Ngandabaa’s unique teaching resources
- Learn how art is used to share stories in our culture
- Create their own piece to take home or for the centre
- Experience the traditional Aboriginal uses of Ochre

Boozy Brushstrokes Workshop with Alejandro Lauren
Boozy Brushstrokes is the fun team building class you’ve been looking for. “Paint and sip” classes are all the craze at the moment, but Boozy Brush Strokes adds an authentic element of Aboriginal education to this activity. Run by a sassy Birpai instructor (Wayde from Alejandro Lauren), attendees are promised fun, education and big laughs. Rather than canvases, the art is done on a tote bag that is provided. It’s eco-friendly and ego-flaunting since you can parade it around knowing your art is being seen by society at large. All you need to do is provide the space, drinks and nibbles for your guests.

Empowerment through Creativity
How to use comedy as a coping mechanism and a diplomacy tool, and how to harness your creativity to build confidence.
This workshop aims to address various issues that ignite self-doubt in its participants, with a focus on resilience, reflection and moving forward by utilising effective forms of expression through comedy. Comedy is a valuable medium to help break down any barriers participants
have. In this way, humour can be used to relate, express and cope with complex situations. If pain is the basis of the shared human experience, then comedy, which is, seemingly, the antithesis, is best borne from those experiences and as the foundations for effective
diplomacy and communication
Learning Objectives
- Why using humour can help “soften the blow”
- How to write a joke and frame difficulties through the lens of humour
- How to reframe ‘bouncing back’ or resilience as creativity and how to extend personal
growth as an opportunity to express yourself - Mastering public speaking and why this can aid in building assertive practices

Corporate Events

First Nations Talent Agency pride ourselves on finding and developing the very best Indigenous and Islander keynote speakers, MC’s comedians and musicians for any special event. We want to elevate your corporate engagements by providing not just a large list of talent, but a diverse list, too. We know that lived experience is the most valuable resource and believe that really engaging corporate speakers are people who have lived, learned and are passionate to speak.
Whether our speakers talk about their years of experience in the nursing profession, a life spent overcoming poverty, the transition from sport to art or workshops about native plant life, our stories capture what life as an Aboriginal person in Australia is about and the future we can have moving forward.
We have created a database where we have access to the deadliest collection of first nations talent in Australia, and can provide entertainment to suit your budget and specific requirements, or curate packages with multiple artists and speakers for a truly impressive show.
