Wayde, who owns and operates Alejandro Lauren, is a queer Wiradjuri/Birpai man and a wonderfully talented contemporary Aboriginal artist.

His work explores culture, identity and perception, bringing to light the issues important to him, and allowing for an uninhibited expression of himself, an experience that has been incredibly cathartic over the years.

Art has been his passion for many years and what began as a hobby naturally evolved into a career. Alejandro runs education groups teaching Aboriginal art to both adults and children, he also runs other workshops outside of this to help people feel free from the stress of everyday life. Alejandro fully believes that art helps people heal and let go, to understand and develop your sense of self and enjoys sharing this gift with others through his talent and his workshops.
