Hailing from Bundaberg, Kylan Ambrum is a proud Yidinji man and a rising star in Comedy, who sports an impressive CV at a young age. He accredits his personality and comedy style to be 100% FNQ Murri style.

Kylan has opened for the likes of Steph Tisdell and has been a part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Deadly Funny Showcase. He started with the Deadly Funny competition, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s contest to unearth Indigenous comedic talents, and was a finalist in both 2018 and 2019. He has also toured with Country circus road show and hosted NAIDOC events in Cairns. Kylan has sold out roadshows touring with Australian comedy darlings, Nikki Osborne and Damien power.

Kylan has Corporate MCing experience and is a generous host, a knowledgeable speaker and slams out irreverent and punchy quips that leave the audience both laughing and thinking.

Kylan works equally hard both in front of and behind the scenes, he has produced several sell-out shows and curated a deadly showcase called “Propa Mad Funny”, giving emerging Aboriginal comedians time to shine on stage. Kylan’s unrivalled passion and work ethic ensured these productions were a huge success.
